B. Steven Verney

Attended Belknap College from 1972- 73. Continued to live in Centre Harbor while I attended Plymouth State College 1974-75. Shared a house on Squam Lake with Russell Greene. In 1976, I became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation and came back to the Centre Harbor – Plymouth area and taught TM. Headed back to Maharishi International University in 1978 and finished my Philosophy BS degree in 81. Meet my lovely wife, Kay Noble at MIU, and we married in 1982. We have two sons, Michael, born in 1985 and Jonathan in 1987. Also had three businesses from 1981 to 2006. They included an import business in Florida and New Jersey, a restaurant and a wholesale bakery in western MA. Wrote my first novel ‘The Best of All Possible Worlds’ and published it 2012 . Working currently on my second one. We reside in Wellfleet, MA, a town on outer Cape Cod. We have a nice size garden, and I’m still surfing, sailing, and teaching Transcendental Meditation. Cheers!

When I attended Belknap College in 1972-73, I was friends with Russell Greene, Rhondi Woods, Gail Desimone, Larry Mastri, Jim Carroll, Sally Meredith, and John Young….I also knew Chico, Peter Lepp and those who hung out in the Joint….It was a very special time.
