As I wrote under "Departed", I visited Steve and Paula out in Logan Utah in the spring of 1975. They transported me to-and-from the airport in Salt Lake City. Rugged country out there! Steve and I spent a day as he was shepherding a grove of apple trees which had automatic water spraying on them in freezing weather to make them "hardy". I know he wrote his thesis but later altered his approach and became a Doctor of Education. Many of us also changed our approach in life. It is all for a reason. A harder worker will never be found. [ I continued-on to Las Vegas to man my first electronics show booth in the West. The first of many as I entered the HVAC business.] They went on to have a great family, far away from his loving parents and friends in the East. Our paths never crossed again. May the good Lord bless his memory and his family.
