After leaving Belknap I became a stewardess for Northwest Airlines. While employed by Northwest, I was asked to be an instructor for the 5 week initial Cabin Attendant training and the annual FAA refresher training. My husband and I moved to Portland, Oregon. I moved to Seattle where I continued to fly for NWA, primarily to the Orient. I decided to quit and began a new career selling furniture. The money was great, the days off were awful, and I took on a third career - landscape design and consultation. I am still doing that. I really like the various careers I’ve had, but one of the fondest years in my life has to be the time I spent at Belknap. What a treasure it was.
