Vlad Wilhousky

Hampton – Vladimir Wilhousky, 75, of Hampton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 19, 2022 in Portsmouth.

Vlad was born January 3, 1947 in Somerville, NJ to the late Vladimir and Irma Wilhousky. He spent his early years in Wallingford, CT and attended Belknap College in Center Harbor, NH. After graduation, Vlad found his life’s work in the financial world working at various brokerages. At the time of his death, Vlad was working with Wells Fargo Advisors in Portsmouth, NH.

Vlad’s joy was being with his family. He was an avid and accomplished golfer and always loved being with his friends. He coached Babe Ruth Baseball for many years, and was known for his sense of humor, quick wit and his ability to make everybody laugh.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Wilhousky of Portsmouth; son, Peter Wilhousky and granddaughter Lorelai Wilhousky of Hampton; sisters, Jane Haffner, Doris Wilhousky and her husband Mark Sottnick, Nancy Wilhousky; nieces, Melissa Haffner and her husband Ike, Kate Haffner, Emma Milward; nephews, Toby Haffner and his wife Melanie, Matthew Milward and many dear friends.

Vlad was preceded in death by his wife Lynn Perrin Wilhousky and brother-in-law Joseph Haffner.

The family would like to thank Nate Alger and give special thanks to Tammy Delahanty.
