Mark Silver, 78, passed away peacefully on July 8th, surrounded by love. Born and raised in Connecticut, Mark spent the last decade of his life in New Jersey to be closer to his sons, Matthew and Aaron.
A gifted musician with a warm heart and an easy smile, Mark had a rare ability to brighten any room simply by being in it. His talent, kindness, and gentle humor left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether he was playing music, sharing a story, or making someone laugh, Mark gave his whole self to the moment—and to the people around him.
Mark is survived by his loving sons, Aaron Silver and his wife Danielle, and Matthew Silver and his wife Brittany; and his beloved grandchildren, Brady and Mia, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his brother, Everett Silver, and former wife, Kay, with whom he shared many years of life and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and others who are now welcoming him with open arms.
Mark’s legacy lives on through his music, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
